A 16-year-old girl, accused of stabbing her boyfriend Santiago Nahuel López Monte to death in Lanús, was arrested during a raid in the Buenos Aires locality of La Matanza. According to police sources confirmed to the Argentine News Agency, the minor was found at a relative's house and had dyed her hair to avoid being recognized. In recent hours, raids had been ordered at six homes in search of the minor, all of which yielded negative results. One of the locations where a raid was carried out was cell 3 of pavilion 8 at Correctional Unit No. 40, where a cell phone was seized. However, doctors from the SAME emergency service who arrived at the scene confirmed that the victim's wounds corresponded to a knife attack. The accused's father, Martín Ramón Mena, is currently imprisoned. However, it was confirmed on Friday morning that an urgent operation was carried out at a home in La Matanza where the agents found the fugitive minor. The teenager is accused of stabbing her boyfriend, who died from his injuries. It was confirmed that the victim suffered from constant gender-based violence. A fact learned by NA is that it was the minor who called 911 and reported that her boyfriend had hurt himself while trying to jump the fence located at the front of the house.
